Below are the Accredited Facilities of the Authority under the new Accreditation Guidelines. You may also find other facilities under the PRA Participating Accredited Facilities.
Assisted Living Residences provide accommodation, varying levels of care and supportive services in a home-like, residential setting. Services typically include meals, social and recreational programs, 24-hour supervision, laundry and housekeeping services, supervision or administration of medications and varying degrees of assistance with the activities of daily living such as bathing and dressing. Nursing services may or may not be provided. Most costs to residents are market driven and, in some cases, may be subsidized by government programs.
Retiree Services and Assistance
The PRA provides a range of services to help the retiree settle comfortably in the country. We offer principal retirees and dependent children the following services:
1. Greet and Assist
Upon your arrival at the airport, a PRA representative will meet and will lead you to your transportation vehicle to take you to your destination. The PRA provides airport shuttles on a first-come, first-serve basis.
2. 24/7 Hotline
You may call the PRA hotline (+63.2.848.1412) anytime of the day, seven days a week for any inquiries that you may have.
3. Assistance in Obtaining Basic Government Documents/Requirements
Our office provides you the assistance in obtaining basic government documents you may need during your stay. These include, but not limited to securing the following:
a. National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) Clearance
b. Driver's License and Motor Vehicle Registration
c. Philippine Tax Exemption
d. Medical Clearance
e. Alien Employment Permit (AEP)
4. Assistance with Banking Matters
We encourage you to keep in close contact with bank representatives with regard to your investment. Our office staff would likewise be of assistance to you for any matter in relation to this.
5. Merchant Discounts
As a retiree, you are entitled to discounts from our merchant partners.
6. List of Hospitals and Doctors
As retiree-members of the program, having a guide or List of hospitals and doctors, may be of help in the future or in case of emergency. The U.S. Embassy, Philippines, recommends the said list. The Philippine Retirement Authority assumes no responsibility for the integrity or professional ability of the persons or hospitals whose names appear in the given list.
The said list shows the name of the Doctors, their Specialization and their Clinic Hours.
The PRA provides a myriad of services- all designed to keep the retiree functioning independently as much as possible. The convenience services are available to all retirees at all levels through the assistance of the PRA One Stop Shop.

Greet and Assist
The Greet and Assist Program of the Philippine Retirement Authority was implemented to provide the active members as well as the prospective applicants who are visiting the country for the first time the needed assistance to make their arrival and departure convenient, secured and hassle-free. By reason of them being in a foreign country, PRA would like to extend to our guests the typical Filipino hospitality.
The Greet and Assist program package includes a variety of services limited to meeting or picking-up the retiree, providing him with any form of assistance which he may need while in the premises of the port of entry. If you are arriving or leaving the country please feel free to submit your Greet and Assist request.

PRA Japanese Club is a nonprofit organization formed by the Japanese Special Retiree Visitors Visa (SRRV) holders in the Philippines to foster cooperation and friendship among Japanese retirees who have chosen the country as their second home. It is duly registered with the Philippine Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in June 2002. The PRA Japanese Club provides support such as language assistance and cultural orientation to ensure convenient and comfortable standard of living for the Japanese retiree. It is also the only national organization recognized by the Japan Embassy in the Philippines as a contact centre in cases of emergency. The PRA Japanese Club welcomes other SRRV holders who are interested to join the organization.

Conversion of Deposits
Conversion of the Required Deposit into Active Investment
Retirees who qualified to join the PRA Retirement Program has the option to convert their time deposit into active investments after a holding period of thirty (30) days from the date of SRRV issuance.
Investment Areas for Retirees
A retiree can choose to invest their required deposit through the following means:
a. Purchase, acquisition and ownership of a condominium unit
b. Long-term lease of house and lot, condominium or townhouse for a period not shorter than twenty (20) years.
c. Purchase, acquisition and ownership of golf or country club shares
NOTE: Former Filipinos can purchase a lot not exceeding 5,000 square meters in urban areas or three (3) hectares in rural areas for business use or other purposes.

Alternative Investments
A retiree who has converted his dollar deposit into an active investment may opt to substitute the same with another form of investment that is allowed under the PRA program.
In case od substitution, the value of the substituted one must at least be equal to or higher than the amount of the retiree's requisite deposit after conversion.
The Visitorial Fee must be continually paid yearly.
The allowable investments to be substituted are confined to only those mentioned above.
Guidelines for Substituting Investments:
a) The retiree must submit a letter of intent to the PRA which must indicate as to what investment outlet he will avail of and must also submit the following:
For Property/Condominium Unit:
1. Copy of the Transfer Certificate of Title (TCT) or Condominium Certificate of Title (CCT) for leased/purchased property and condominium unit, respectively.
2. Copy of the Deed of Absolute Sale or Contract of Lease.
For Golf/Proprietary Membership Shares:
1. Certified true copy of the Stock Certificate.
2. Certification duly notarized by the Corporate Secretary of the Golf Club that the PRA Restriction annotated in the stock and transfer book of the golf club.
b) PRA evaluates the said documents and informs the retiree of its status.
c) PRA will give the retiree a letter addressed to the Registered of Deeds or to the Corporation for the annotation of the PRA Restirction on the TCT/CCT and/or Stock Certificate.
d) The Retiree wiil submit to PRA the annotated document.
